Peninsula Children's Center is looking for a dynamic, experienced Executive Director to lead them into their fifth decade of providing high quality, affordable child care and education as well as family support services to the children and families in North/Northeast Portland. The next ED will bring new ideas and relationships that can be leveraged into partnerships that will position the organization as a community leader in providing cutting edge early childhood programs and community-based programs for school age children. Peninsula Children's Center is known for its unique economically and racially integrated programs.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a senior manager in a non-profit, human/social services or education setting and will have demonstrated responsibility for vision, planning, execution and evaluation of both the business and program sides of an organization. Early Childhood Education/Development experience is a plus.
With an active board of directors, a full and part-time program staff of 40, an assistant director responsible for education, an administrative staff of 5, and an annual budget of over $1.5 million, Peninsula Children's Center is ready for a leader to take it to new heights.
